Some wisdom from Mr. Vonnegut | Daily Quote (JB)
Grayson and I have decided that a daily quote is a good idea. It will fill the void of inconsistency while being easy enough to write a short quip about when and if writer’s block sets in. We will alternate days so you, you lucky reader, get the experience of a different voice every day. I know. It couldn’t get any better.
In the spirit of the book I picked up (again), Slaughterhouse-Five, is a quote by one of the greatest satirical and dark writers to ever put words on paper; Kurt Vonnegut.
“We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.”
— Mother Night (1961)
And, it’s that simple. Look out for tomorrow’s quote coming from Grayson.
